What is the Sol Kyst return/exchange policy?

SOL KYST is happy to offer hassle free returns and exchanges. A $10 CAD restocking fee will be applied to returns.

Canada, USA, UK, and Australia: If you are unsatisfied with your order, please initiate a return here.

International: Sol Kyst is now accepting International Returns + Exchanges. To begin this process, please email customer@solkyst.ca with your name + order number. Please note that international returns will be at the customer's expense, and if doing an exchange, the new order will be shipped out after the return has been received at Sol Kyst.

Sol Kyst is not responsible for lost or damaged returns.

Any Returns or Exchanges must be initiated within 30 days of being marked delivered. This ensures that orders are eligible for a full refund back onto the original payment method.

All items must be returned in their original state with no signs of damage.

Damages and other issues? Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us within 48 hours of delivery if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and work with you to find a solution. Please include photos (if applicable) to expedite the process.

What are SOL KYST glasses made from? 

All our frames are made from acetate. Acetate is a superior material to make glasses from as it is extremely durable, long lasting, lightweight, comfortable to wear and can produce high quality finishes, designs and colours.  

All our glasses have nylon lenses. Nylon lenses are light, flexible, and offer high optical quality, about 70% better (ABBE value) than traditional plastic lenses.

Are Sol Kyst glasses they polarized?

Yes, all our lenses are now polarized.

Can I put a prescription in Sol Kyst glasses?

Our Aviators, Blue Light, Rectangle, Trapazoid, and Wayfarer glasses are suitable for a low - moderate prescription. Please seek professional advice.

What sizes are Sol Kyst frames?

Many of our frames are available in three sizes:

• MINI - 135mm-140mm (Little Smaller than standard)
• MIDI - 145mm-150mm (Little Bigger than standard - Wide Face Petite)
• WIDE - 158mm-160mm (OG Wide Face Babe fit)

Please Note: effective June 2025, we are discontinuing our MINI and MIDI sizes. All new styles and restock orders will be made for WIDE size only.

How do I know which Sol Kyst size is right for me/my face?

We have created a PDF Size Guide for you to print + use in the comfort of your own home. When printing this please be sure to select "Actual Size" (otherwise it will "shrink to fit" and the lines will be shorter than they should be).

Can I customize the fit of my Sol Kyst glasses?

Did you know you can get a more custom fit with your Sol Kyst sunnies with a quick at home DIY?

Check out this Tik Tok where Meghan shows you how you can slightly adjust the size of the glasses and get a more custom fit for you. It works phenomenally well if you have a low nose bridge or find our glasses a tiny bit big. We use heat from a blow dryer or hot water to gently mold the glasses to your face. This works due to us using such a high quality and strong but heat flexible material called acetate. Check out the tik tok below or reach out for more help!

How should I care for my Sol Kyst glasses?

We are so excited for you to have sunglasses that fit & flatter you and express your personal style. Please follow along with our care guide to give you the best years with your Kyst Eyewear glasses.

1) As simple as it is store your glasses when you're not wearing them. We provide you a beautiful soft touch case to keep your sunnies well protected. This will keep dust and dirt away but also protects your shades from getting scratched, bent or broken.

2) NEVER use paper towels, tissue, or napkins to dry or clean your lenses. All of these materials have a textured surface and can easily scratch your lenses. Please use your Kyst Eyewear lens cloth to clean your lenses.

3) Always rinse your glasses off with water before wiping or cleaning them. Any tiny particles of dust or dirt can settle on your lens, and if you wipe those around on a dry lens, it can be abrasive. If you're going to use a chemical, use sprays or cleansers that are specifically made to clean eyeglass lenses.

4) Every-time you put on your Kyst Eyewear frames, remember to take a look in the mirror and give yourself a wink or a smile, because you look amazing! Now go take on your day!
